Getting Ready For The New Season
April 30 2008: Ashley's 2008 racing season is just over six weeks away, but preparations are well under way. With the finishing touches going on a new trailer and a some new sponsors lining up with Barbie, Ashley is looking forward to getting back in the car.

Ashley will return to the Ontario Sportsman Series (OSS) to follow up an impressive rookie season and will try her hand in some NASCAR Canada events too! The OSS gets underway June 14 at Mosport and tours to Sauble Speedway (June 28), Peterborough Speedway (July 12), Barrie Speedway (July 26), Peterborough Speedway (August 9), a venue to be announced (September 6) and Barrie Speedway (September 20).

Testing the waters of NASCAR Canada, Ashley hopes to race at Edmonton (July 26), Montreal (August 2) and Trois Rivieres (August 17). The Edmonton event does present a conflict with an OSS race at Barrie, but a solution is being sought.

Goin' In Circles: Ashley Finds Her Way In Oval Racing
October 20 2007: Before the 2007 season, Ashley had never raced a Stock Car. In fact, it turned out she didn't even fit a Stock Car. Not able to see over the steering wheel, barely able to reach the pedals and unable to reach the ignition switch, there was some adjusting and fabricating to do before the first race. Once on the track however, Ashley soon looked the part and just three events into the season took a second-place finish. Now that the season is finished, Ashley looks back at her transition to going in circles... FULL STORY
